The Fine Print

Reservations:
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% per person deposit. Full final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to arrival at Island Lodge. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival must be paid in full immediately.

Refunds:
Our refund guidelines are based on the necessity for all supplies to be ordered in advance and flown-in to our remote location. We appreciate your understanding.

All deposits and payments will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee if we are given written notice at least 60 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to arrival date are subject to a 50% cancellation charge. Refunds will not be made if reservations are cancelled within 30 days of arrival date, regardless of the reason.

We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance.

Cost Adjustments:
If weather or other circumstances beyond our control prevent the use of certain kinds of transportation or the safe conduct of an activity, every effort will be made to arrange an alternative. If a change, approved by a guest, results in an additional cost, the extra cost will be at the guest’s expense. Island Lodge will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or losses that are incurred as a result of delays due to weather or forces of nature, air carrier delays or cancellations. If a longer stay at Island Lodge is necessary due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstance, the charge for each additional night is $200 per person, per night for lodging and meals. Guided activities may be arranged at extra cost.

Acknowledgment of Risks:
You are coming to a very remote area where you will be participating in active outdoor wilderness activities. These activities include inherent risks, without which, you might as well stay home. All guests must read and sign the Acknowledgment of Risks. Please click here to read it, and if you have any questions about the risks it describes or what the form means, please email or call us for clarification.
