Hiking with Island Lodge
Lake Clark National Park....4 million acres and 4 miles of trail. If you are looking for untracked wilderness - this is it! Hiking trails in the Park consists of an easy, well-maintained trail to the spectacular Tanalian Falls out of Port Alsworth. The rest is either above tree line tundra and mountain hiking, or what we Alaskans call bush-whacking - finding our way through the ever-present alders and willows. Either way the end result is always fantastic views, interesting historic cabins, beautiful waterfalls, or awesome mountain-tops!
